Liu Ya Fei, born in 1955, was familiar with practicing Nei
Yang Gong - Internal Cultivation Qi Gong - and
Tai Ji Quan from childhood on. She received the
genuine tradition of Nei Yang Gong through
instruction from her father Liu Gui Zhen, who
laid the foundation stone for medical Qi Gong
in modern China, and who was an extremely
well known expert for therapeutic Qi Gong; she
passed her examinations at the University for
traditional Chinese Medicine in Tianjin / China.
As heiress to the Nei Yang Gong tradition, Liu Ya Fei continues
with her father‘s life’s work. She engaged in applying
Qi Gong in a clinical context, in research and teaching,
thereby gathering valuable experience in Qi Gong treatment
methods, traditional Chinese medicine and Tai Ji
Quan. In China at present she holds the position of Clinic
Director of the Hospital for Medical Qi Gong in the Province
Hebei/China; furthermore she is head of the National
Training Centre for Medical Qi Gong in China. With
the exercise and instruction material on this DVD, and
her inimitable demonstrations of Nei Yang Gong exercises
in motion, Liu Ya Fei shows how the movements are
to be performed systematically, with graceful poses, hard
and soft supportively combined, with Body, Qi and Mind
